Hello! I am a working professional living in Basel CH. I grew up on a small farm in the Irish countryside alongside horses, dogs, cats, a pig, chickens, ducks, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, budgies and a snake (!) so have a huge love for all animals- fluffy, furry, feathered, scaled or otherwise.

I am a proud and doting pet-parent to two indoor cats (Albert and Duchess) who are the best companions/houserulers I could ever have asked for.

In past years I have fostered three rescued racing greyhounds to climatise them to indoor life before they went to their forever homes, and at other times two playful, mischievous, adorable orphan kittens.

My favourite past-time is horse-riding/equitation and I do my best to dedicate time to this a couple of times a year.

I am a huge animal lover, and like to think that my fondness extends to all types equally, but if I had to choose a side, I am definitely a ‘cat person’! I adore their quirky, majestic ways, and find them extremely entertaining, not to mention how loving and affectionate they can be.

I will happily pet or lounge with them with vocal enaggement, play with them when they are in giddy moods and allow them to relax in their own space if they prefer to keep a low-profile during my visit.

I am well acquainted with their daily needs so you can be assured that their food and water is served, litter boxes are freshened, and comfort is guaranteed while you are away. I am also happy to do light grooming, engage in play-times and supervise access to outdoor areas as needed.
