Experienced, caring cat sitter

Hi! My name is Michalina, I’m 25 and currently doing my Master’s degree at the University of Bern. I adore cats! I’m the kind of person who always tries to befriend and pet a passing cat on the street.

In my family home I have a black cat (shown in the picture, I miss her terribly!) - a chatty 12-year-old who loves to be the centre of attention. I grew up in the company of cats, I consider them a very important part of my life. In my home town I often looked after neighbours’ cats when they were away on holiday.

I will take care of your cat as if I were taking care of my own - on top of feeding, changing water and cleaning after your cat I will also provide them with lots of cuddles, grooming and playing, followed by a few treats.

I’m fully aware that every cat has a different character - I like to take time to let a cat get to know me so they can feel confident around me. I always give affection within their boundaries, respecting their own needs and the fact that they might not be the cuddly type (my former fluffy family member was a reserved gentleman).

I will make sure to send regular updates in the form of text, video and photos of your fur baby to let you know how they’re getting on.

I will follow your instructions to provide the best cat care. In case of any worries, don’t hesitate to contact me - I know how stressful leaving your kitty can be.

If you’re going away for a longer period of time, I can also water your plants and pick up your post.

P.S. I’m also learning German, I can communicate at B1 level.
