Cat sitting in Bern
Hello!
My name is Raquel, I’m 27 years old, and I’m originally from Portugal. I’m a microbiologist and I moved to Bern so I could work researching parasites (my favourite group of organisms, after cats…of course).
Back in Portugal, me and my parents take care of a colony of cats that settled in our backyard. They became part of the family eventually and we have, at the moment, around 10 cats…which is a handful but a joy.
I work 100% as a research assistant in a lab, but I miss my cats. On top of that, my boyfriend is allergic…so I wasn’t lucky there 😅 this was the best way I found to be around my furry friends.
I speak Portuguese, English and Spanish.

I will feed the designated food portions, provide water and clean bowls, clean and/or change litter (in designated days) and sweep the surrounding area, clean any “mayhem” that might happen, interact (play, pet, cuddle, comfort), brush hair and provide updates on the kitties :)
