Katzensitter in Basel

I’m currently a PhD student at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, where my research focuses on global health and infectious diseases. I’ve always been driven by curiosity and a deep desire to make a meaningful contribution to public health, especially in underserved communities.

Cats have been a part of my life since childhood, and I’ve always admired their independence, intelligence, and quiet affection. There’s something incredibly calming about sharing space with a cat — they teach you to slow down, be present, and appreciate the small things. I’ve had the joy of living with a few cats over the years, each with their own quirky personality and habits. They’ve brought warmth and comfort during even the most stressful moments of my academic journey.

To me, cats are not just pets — they’re companions, teachers, and constant reminders of the beauty in everyday life.

As a cat sitter, I offer the full VIP treatment for your feline friend — from being an excellent treat giver to a top-tier cuddler (if your cat is into that, of course!). I'm happy to adapt to each cat's personality and needs, whether that means playtime, quiet company, or simply making sure they feel safe and loved while you're away. I'm also experienced with feeding routines, litter box care, and administering basic medication if needed.
